Carla has been managing events and Communities since 2011. She started with experimental music festivals and eventually ended up in Tech, where she fell in love with its Community. During her career she has produced and run many conferences (yes, also the virtual ones!), meetups, webinars and hackathons. She currently heads the Content, Events & Community Department at Container Solutions, driving and implementing the content and event strategy around the WTF is Cloud Native brand, the Software Circus community as well as all Container Solutions’ marketing campaigns. She is also one of the co-founders of the Flyless.dev meetup, an OpenUK Ambassador and the current CNCF Marketing Committee Chair. Carla drinks way too much tea (mainly green), has an unhealthy obsession for Japan and a big passion for art, music, cinema, philosophy and fashion. Pronoun is She/Her, most of the time.

Carlaは2011年からイベントやコミュニティの運営に携わっています。実験的な音楽フェスティバルから始まり、最終的には技術系に行き着き、そのコミュニティに魅了されました。そのキャリアの中で、彼女は多くのカンファレンス（バーチャルなものも！）、ミートアップ、ウェビナー、ハッカソンをプロデュースし運営してきました。 現在、Container Solutionsのコンテンツ、イベント、コミュニティ部門を率い、WTF is Cloud Nativeブランド、Software Circusコミュニティ、Container Solutionsのすべてのマーケティングキャンペーンに関するコンテンツとイベント戦略の推進と実践を行っています。また、Flyless.dev ミートアップの共同設立者の一人であり、OpenUK Ambassador、そして現在の CNCF Marketing Committee の議長でもあります。 お茶（主に緑茶）を飲みすぎ、日本に不健康なほどの執着を持ち、アート、音楽、映画、哲学、ファッションに大きな情熱を注いでいます。 代名詞は大抵の場合、She/Her。

We’ll be sharing a practical approach to collaboratively identify and agree upon community values, starting from the inside out. Our hope is to provide a framework for all community organisers, other volunteers and anybody interested in building an internal or external community. The goal is to create a real sense of belonging and safety, in order to truly guarantee the creation of teams, communities and events that are really diverse and inclusive, and where everybody is held accountable for their behaviour. We want a future where we won’t need to scramble for diverse line-ups and content anymore because everybody feels safe and welcome, especially all the underrepresented groups. A future where mistakes are made, acknowledged and constructively fixed.
