DevRelCon Yokohama 2023 - accommodations

The event is around the corner, and I would like to write about accommodation options for the event.

Everything you should know is here…

If you are the first time coming to Yokohama, the following external site would be super useful.

I will be referencing information from this resource most of the time.

The venue

The conference will be hosted at Vision Center Yokohama on March 11 & 12.

The venue is located at North West of Yokohama Station, and 5-minute walk, so ultimately you can choose any hotels nearby the Yokohama Station. You can see the list in the page below:

The Hotels

I will list a couple of hotels I found on the site. I checked the room availabilities between March 10 and March 1 with 1 adult, but they may change from time to time.

  • Richmond Hotel Yokohama Ekimae
    221-0835 Kanagawa, Yokohama, Kanagawa-ku, Tsuruyacho 2-13, Japan
    Richmond Hotels is a hotel chain for business and travel. 24-hour front desk. The room comes with air conditioning, TV, free WiFi.

  • JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama
    221-0835 Kanagawa, Yokohama, 1-66-9 Tsuruya-cho Kanagawa-ku, Japan
    JR-East Hotel Mets is operated by East Japan Railway Company, and the hotel is 3-minute walk from Yokohama Station North West exit. 24-hour front desk. The room comes with air conditioning, TV, free WiFi.

  • Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel and Towers
    220-8501 Kanagawa, Yokohama, Nishi-Ku Kitasaiwai, 1-3-23 , Japan
    1-minute walk from JR Yokohama station. Very luxury, and close to the venue.

If you choose to stay Sakuragi-cho (1 station from Yokohama station), or Kannai (2 stations from Yokohama station), you would have more options and relatively reasonable for pricing.

There are famous business hotel chains, too. You may find good deals. Please use keywords like “Yokohama station, Sakuragicho, Kannnai, Minato mirai”
